Strauss is one of the most skilled soldiers in the Survey Corps. However, due to his trusting problems, he tends to act alone when facing a Titan, with exception of when leading his squad.

Bio:
Strauss was born in a small village near the District of Clorba. His family owned a wood crafting business in the village. One day, Strauss accidentally cut his hand with a saw, and transformed into a Titan. His family was banished as the result, and they settled in the District of Clorba.
They started another wood crafting business, and was fairly successful to feed the family of 7. Strauss and his siblings were forbidden from telling anyone how their family got here. However, when the business started to gain less and less customers, Strauss and his two brothers left and applied for the military, so their family would have less mouths to feed.
His Titan form:
The Titan form of Strauss is a 15m tall Titan. His Titan is so far not given any specific name. His Titan has incredible speed and combat skills, but the recovery speed is relatively slow compared to other Titans.
Personality:
Strauss seems friendly and positive at the first time seeing him. However, he has trouble trusting others, and is sometimes very negative minded. He hates himself for being a Titan shifter, causing many troubles for his family, and refuses to use his ability in battles.
Others:
- annoyed about Levi/Rivaille
- respects Erwin, but keeps distance
- was a bit negative about Eren joining Survey Corps (Don't get me wrong. I don't hate Eren)
- wears a cross necklace made out of glass, which was given to him by one of his few friends
